Hello there!
I’m Mandy, the founder of The Complexionist and your personal skin therapist.
I’ve spent almost 30 years in the beauty industry, specialising in skin, brows and lashes and over this time I have worn lots of hats: salon owner of a Brisbane City Mall salon at 20 years old, educator, product creator, trainer and innovator.
I’ve been honoured to develop award-winning products (Fox Cosmetics), launch industry-first events like Australia’s Lash Gala, and introduce Brow Henna and Russian Volume Lash Extensions to beauty professionals here in Australia.
After navigating my own ongoing recovery from a chronic health condition, my approach changed.
I no longer focus only on what looks good. I work with the body, not against it. I help people feel at home in their own skin.
And what have I learned? Skin is never just skin.
It reflects your stress levels, your hormones, your sleep, your nervous system, your life.
